VAK learning style:
After completing the VAK learning style, the results were somewhat varied. I personally se myself as a more visual learner, with that said the results of my VAK test suggested that I am an “Auditory” leaner. I am to a certain degree an auditory learner, simply because I am able to listen well and perform tasks based on what I have been told.
After reading the description for the “Visual” learning style I would defiantly say this is more suited to my style. I much prefer being shown what to do alongside being told, I find it much easier to sit down with someone and do the task at hand.
To be honest, I think if the actual test’s were worded somewhat differently then the results would obviously change as a result, because some of the questions and sometimes result with more than one answer. At these points the user, very much like myself, will just usually pick a random answer since they are both correct to them.
Kolb learning style:
Kolb’s learning style is a more accurate means of testing a person’s learning style, for myself the results seem reasonable, much more reasonable than the VAK learning style.
After assigning values to the grid and then plotting them on the circular diagram, the results were accurate, however taking the test into more depth i.e. subtracting values in order to plot it into another graph, yielded unexpected results.
Another factor that makes Kolb’s style stand out more, is the fact that it provides a visual element for the user to observe their results.

Conclusion
As a comparison between the two learning styles I would have to say that Kolb’s style is much more accurate than the VAK style.
However the results from the final graph are incorrect and contradict its previous analysis of the person.
For example the final description I received said “welcomes new experiences” whereas when I was answering the original questions I gave the respective question relating to the previous comment the lowest score.
If the VAK style test was worded differently or more accuratley and also provided a visual analaysis of the candidates results then that particular style would potentially be substantially more accurate.
